1915: the Ottoman Empire entered World War I while nationalist ideologies were on the rise. The Armenians, established in Eastern Anatolia for 3,000 years, became easy enemies and so began the 1st genocide of the century. In Turkey, discussion of the subject has always been refused, the use of the word “genocide” forbidden. Picture the story through 2 turkish key witnesses: Hasan Cemal, grandson of one of the perpetrators and Fetiye Cetin, an Armenian and granddaughter of one of the victims.
